Louis Chauvière PhD

Co-founder - Molecular biology & bioinformatics

Louis Chauvière is an expert in molecular biology and bioinformatics. After earning two Master’s degrees in these fields, he completed a PhD in an epigenetics laboratory at Université Paris Cité, where he studied X chromosome inactivation in humans.

With over ten years of experience in academic research, hospitals and CROs, Louis has designed and developed numerous omics data analysis strategies and pipelines. He has deep expertise in single-cell and RNA-seq data analysis, from experimental design to biological interpretation. As co-founder of Sycomia, he brings this expertise to your projects with tailored, scientifically rigorous solutions.

Nicolas Scalzitti PhD

Co-founder - Bioinformatics & artificial intelligence

Nicolas Scalzitti is a senior bioinformatician with expertise in biological data analysis and artificial intelligence. After a Master’s degree in bioinformatics, he completed a PhD at the University of Strasbourg on AI-based genome annotation strategies.

He has taught computer science, particularly Python programming and databases, and later joined a research laboratory in the United States to develop AI tools for designing therapeutic peptides. In 2025, he co-founded Sycomia to put AI at the service of your omics projects, with scientific rigor and full transparency at every step.

Staying up to date with the latest technologies, I will work with you to design cutting-edge AI solutions.

Having collaborated with hospitals, academic research groups and major pharmaceutical companies, Florent Tessier brings over ten years of experience across both public and private sectors. He holds a Master’s degree in bioinformatics from Université Paris-Saclay and École Polytechnique.

An expert in omics data analysis and co-founder of Sycomia, he is responsible for developing analysis pipelines and running bioinformatics workflows across a wide variety of projects. Having worked with nearly all major omics technologies, from genomics to proteomics, he offers broad, hands-on expertise in the field.

I will deliver fast, accurate and reliable results for your analyses.
